This year NEU Magazine published an Article on Africans and the BET Experience on how African Stars regularly receives their Awards Backstage or even 10 hours before the main event. This year some African nominees icluding Wizkid refused to attend, Falz the Nigerian Artist and Comedian was there to receive his award for viewers choice best international, Akon and others along side also received on the same stage,
