Aliko Dangote Acquires a Gas Plant in The Netherlands
Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote, has acquired a gas processing plant, Twister BV in Netherlands
According to a statement released by Dangote Industries Limited, the acquisition is part of the company’s strategies to meet Nigeria’s gas shortfall.
The company added that Twister BV offers robust solutions in natural gas processing and separation to the upstream and midstream oil and gas sectors.
Twister’s separation capabilities were built to ease production and streamline processes to capitalize on high-yield gas processing for maximizing revenues.
The president of Dangote Industries Limited, Mr. Dangote said, “this is an important acquisition for us, Twister’s cutting-edge gas processing technology is fundamental to delivering our strategy to unlock about three billion cubic feet per day of gas in order to meet Nigeria’s gas needs.”
On his part, Twister’s CEO, John Young, said: “We are delighted in the confidence DIL and First E&P have shown in Twister to be their core provider of gas separation solutions. After a very thorough due diligence, our technology has been recognized as a key enabler to reduce gas project costs, which is crucial in this current environment.
Twister BV was a subsidiary of Shell Technology Ventures Fund 1 before its acquisition by Dangote and its partner, First E&P.

Fathia Balogun shows off 4 SUVs
Nollywood actress, Fathia Balogun, has announced the birth of a new reality TV show.
Tagged My Africa Reality TV Show (MARTS), four winners will go home with an SUV and N5million each.
Four runners-up will also get N3million each, making a total cash prize of N32million.
MARTS, according to the actress, is conceived to promote African cultural heritage through the creative talents of youths in dance, music, comedy and drama.
“The show does not just identify with these talented individuals, but goes further to manage their professional careers guiding them to fully-exploit their talents into global stardom,” she wrote on Instagram on Tuesday.
“With My Africa Reality TV Show, every contestant is a winner.
“24 finalists shall be selected from nationwide auditions. Four winners and four [4] first runners-up of each contested art-discipline will emerge with their prizes at the end of the 9-week challenge. Each of the 4 winners will receive an SUV, N5 million cash and 5-year management contract; the first runners-up win cash prizes of N3 million each and 5-year contracts; and evictees receive consolation prizes of 5-year contracts.”
This new Reality TV Show includes Actors like Zark Orji, Femi Adebayo, Max Ese Anderson as Director of PR and Media, Paul Obazele as The Guardian, Chief Ejiro Okurame as Producer, Bridget Chigbufie as The Host and many others.

Kim Kardashian Robbed at Gunpoint
Kim Kardashian West has been robbed at gunpoint in a private residence in Paris by assailants disguised as police who made off with millions of pounds worth of jewellery.
A spokeswoman for the reality TV star said she was “badly shaken but physically unharmed” after they tied her up in the flat’s bathroom before fleeing the scene.
A Paris police official told the Associated Press that five armed men, who were still at large, stole a jewellery box containing valuables worth €6m (£5.2m) as well as a ring worth €4m, and mobile telephones. Police said the robbers escaped on bicycles
French media reported that the men, who had masks and were wearing fake police armbands, arrived at about 3am on Monday and threatened the concierge at the building in rue Tronchet, near the Madeleine church and not far from the Elysée Palace, the British embassy and the designer shops of rue du Faubourg-Saint Honoré
The robbers handcuffed the concierge before ordering him to show them where Kardashian West was staying. After forcing their way into the apartment they tied her up and locked her in the bathroom.
“The haul amounts to several million euros, most of which is jewellery. We’re still trying to establish the exact amount stolen,” a police source told Agence France-Presse. He added that Kardashian West had flown out of France on Monday morning after giving a statement to police.
The 35-year-old had been in Paris since last week for fashion week and had attended the Balenciaga show earlier on Sunday.
The reality star sat in the front row at the Givenchy show, with her sister Kourtney and their mother, Kris Jenner, in a show of support for their sister, Kendall Jenner, who was modelling in the presentation.
The family has been uncharacteristically silent on social media since the report involving Kardashian West.
Her husband, Kanye West, had abruptly ended his performance at the Meadows music and arts festival at Citi Field in New York on Sunday night. He stopped midway through his performance of Heartless, citing a “family emergency”.
