Linda Ikeji Hit back at Wizkid

The Internet is buzzing right now on what's happening to Wizkid and his supposed rented building in Lekki. The Millionair Blogger blogged about it and Wizkid went ranting. Read below Linda's Reply to Wizkid

''So my darling little 'friend' Wizkid came on my IG page this morning to blast me for writing yesterday that he was given quit notice at the Lekki home he claimed he bought some years ago, which he actually rented. He threatened to beat me up...called me an ugly old bitch...(I'm ugly? lol) says I don't have a man (crying over that..) and called my mum a loser...(what a child).

Anyway, all that don't matter, people have said worse to me...what I wanted to address is the part where he said I slept with his director and he left me in a hotel...that one I will definitely want to address because some people actually believe it. That my dear friends, is a lie! Please continue...

Why I was sacked as Director General ONYEKA ONWENU

Singer and actress, Onyeka Onwenu, who has been removed as Director General of the National Centre for Women Development has released a disturbing allegation of how tribalism held sway in the agency and how she was persecuted because she is Igbo.
Read her story below:
When the call came on Sept 13 2013, to serve the Nigerian people as DG National Center For Women Development, I took it as a call from God and I answered in the affirmative.
I served for 2years and five months and did my best under very difficult conditions. We hardly had money to operate and the place was badly run down. Worst, there was low moral and lack of commitment among the Staff. Most spent the day loitering and gossiping. Many would not show up for work or arrive 11 am, only to leave before 3 pm. Some were absent for months and were just collecting their salary at home.
My administration changed all that. Most Staff were turned around and became passionate about the work, appreciating also the changes they thought were not possible but were happening right before them.
There remained though, a remnant who felt that the Center was their personal preserve and that the position of Director General should only go to someone from their part of the country. I was initially dismissed as just a Musician. When that did not work, I was targeted and abused for being an Igbo woman who came to give jobs to and elevate my people while sidelining them. When these detractors could not provide answers to the spate of improvement we were bringing, they resorted to sabotage and blackmail. The first such salvo was fired when a Senate Committee visited on an oversight mission a few months after my arrival. All three Generators at the Center were cannibalized, overnight, just hours to the visit.
We got over that incident and trudged on. The rest of our activities and accomplishments, modest as there is public knowledge. I have never in my life been an unfair person. I never favored any group. I carried everybody along. But I did not put up with deliberate incompetence and a refusal to learn, an attitude of entitlement which some people displayed. We brought back a level of professionalism and commitment to deliver on our mandate. Without these attributes, the Center would have fallen apart.

The Drama Continues, Just Like West Coast and East Coast Olamide Warns Don Jazzy not to Cross Over to the Mainland

The Social media in just less than five hours witnessed and still witnessing a huge and interesting reactions in the Nigerian Entertainment scene. It was recalled that Omo Baba Olowo Davido sometime ago adviced Olamide to pull a Kanye if Lil Kesh did not win the Next Rated Award at the Headies. His tweets confirmed it, and as loyal as Badoo Olamide would be to the HKN Boss. He actually obeyed and pulled a Kanye. Fans of Both Mavin and YBNL has been at war on twitter, facebook and youtube and other Social sites. Now the question is who actually should have won the Next Rated award, Reekado Banks or Lil Kesh.
Second question is, should Olamide have reacted the way he did and should Don Jazzy also have acted and spoken the way he did.
Now as Olamide's Friend, Phyno wages in on Twitter, his fans quickly have been begging him not to get involved. The main thing that we are now concerned about is Olamide's tweet telling Don Jazzy not to cross over to Mainland, Should we now conclude that just like the American East Coast and West Coast War, Nigeria is about to Witness the Mainland Vs. Island.

Why King Sunny Ade won N500million

A Lagos High Court has awarded Juju legend, King Sunny Ade a whopping N500million as damages, thirty years after he instituted a suit against African Songs and its subsidiary, Take Your Choice Stores, for infringing on his works.
The court also awarded him an additional N3million for expenses incurred while prosecuting the suit.
In the statement of claim filed before the court by a Lagos lawyer Chief Felix Fagbohungbe, SAN, in 1975, the lawyer claimed a contract dispute arose between King Suny Ade and the two companies culminating in a judgement delivered by Justice Dosunmu of a Lagos High Court.
In the said judgement the court ordered the companies to return the master tapes of the original musical works produced under the label of the two companies by Sunny Ade, but before the master tape could be returned the chairman chief Executive Office of the two companies Chief Bolarinwa Abioro died.
Consequently, in a bid to retrieve the master Tapes Sunny Ade in 1997 dragged the two companies before a federal high court in Lagos.
Joined as co-defendants in the suits were; Lati Alagbada,Record manufacturing Nigeria Limited, Ibukunola Printers, Alhaja Awawu Ade Amodu and M.O. Alagbada, who he alleged have been using the master tapes to produce inferior qualities of his musical works and sell them to members of the public thereby depriving him of his means of livelihood.
He contended that he was the author, composer, and producer of all the musical works numbering about 22. He therefore demanded for damages in the sum of N1 Billion jointly and severally and prayed the court to order the two companies to return to him his master tapes as well as restraining the defendants from infringing on his musical works.
In a defence and counter claim filed by the two companies, they claimed that since Sunny Ade has been paid royalties by the companies he cannot lay claim to the tapes again. According to them, the contract he signed with the two companies does not include returning of the master tapes to him. Consequently, they urged the court to award N5million against Sunny Ade and in their favour.
In his judgement, Justice James Tsoho while dismissing the counter claim of the two companies for lack of merit, ordered the two companies to pay Sunny Ade and his band the sum of N500milion.
The judge also ordered that the master tapes should be returned to Sunny Ade since it has been proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is the owner of the copyright.
